Overview

The Mardi Himal trek is one of the well-known and medium treks in Annapurna Region. The trek is considered to be a model of quiet and less human preface to mountaineering in the high Himalaya, particularly, if you have limited time available. The trek offers superb Himalaya range, with closest views of Hiunchuli, Annapurna south, Fishtail (Machhapuchhere) one of the sacred beautiful Mountains in Annapurna Himalaya region) and far west Dhaulagiri along with mixed culture, lush valley and beautiful landscape.
The route consist of trail mostly go along the top ridges of hills passing through villages, dense rhododendron forest, intense rivers and Mardi base camp at the elevation of 4600 meters. This trek offers the opportunity of an excellent cultural experience and adventure. Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1334m/4376ft).


Today is your arrival day in Kathmandu from your home. We welcome to you a small Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal. Our company representatives will receive you at Tribhuwan International Airport, and drop you to your hotel with some important briefing for the further preparation of this trek. [Overnight at Kathmandu]  

Day 2 : Fly to explore Pokhara (820m):25minute


Pokhara is one of the most popular tourist destinations and the second most visited city in Nepal. It lies on the shores of lovely Phewa Lake. Three out of the ten highest mountains in the world can be seen from Pokhara (Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manasalu). We will be exploring at the city for extra day. International Mountarining Museum, David fall (Pattale Chango), Gupteshowora cave, Gorkha Museum, Gorge Seti river and Tibetan's refugee camp. Day 3 : Pokhata to Deurali (2100m/6889ft): 6hrs


Approximately after 1hr drive from Pokhara to Kande, Trek begins from Pitam Deurali via Austrillain Camp for about 3hrs. Then, we will reach at Pitam Deurali while having wonderful first gleams of Himalayan snow views along green mountain terrain valleys. We pass through Gurung villages and jungles of Rhododendrons, Pine birch Maple alpine species. Finally we get to the Deurali. [Overnight at Deurali] 
 

Day 4 : Deurali to forest camp (2550m/8366ft): 6hrs


Today we walk up on from Deurali through Pine forest on the way. Then, we trek an hour flat trail. The trail leads you to the rhododendron forest which makes our trek colorful. Our trek within forest with full of fresh air and some view of Himalaya toward north east can be seen. Finally we reach at forest camp. [Overnight at Forest camp]  

Day 5 : Forest Camp to High camp (3580m/11745ft): 6hrs


After nice breakfast, we ascend from Rhododendron forest Camp by leaving behind Badal Danda. We enjoy majestic vistas of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South and Himchuli. We also enjoy few Rhododendron bushes and the colorful Danphe in the region which are mesmerizing. Whenever you reach the high Camp, you will see perfect viewpoints of the snow-covered peaks. 

Day 6 : Hike to Mardi Base Camp and Back to Low camp (2990m/9809ft): 9hrs


Today we start at early morning to our final destination of Mardi Base Camp which takes around 5 hrs and we will enjoy the splendid nature. We will spend some more time exploring the lustrous Himalayas and snowy landscapes while taking more and more photos. Then, we descend back to Low Camp trekking along the beautiful trail while enjoying the most scenic views.  After walking for nearly 3hrs, we will reach the low Camp. [Overnight at Low Camp]
 

Day 7 : Low camp to Siding (1850m/6069): 9hrs


After having breakfast, the trail demands around 4 hrs of a bit steep and slippery descent. The harsh trail takes you into a beautiful traditional village of Siding. It will take 4-5hrs and then, we will drive back to Pokhara approx 2hrs. [Overnight at Siding]  
 

Day 8 : Pokhara to Kathmandu (1334m/4376ft):25 minute


After having Himalaya ecstasy along with scenic views of Mountain and Pokhara city cultures, traditions and its own customs, we drive about 5 hours to Kathmandu via valley Seti river, Marshyandi river and Tirshuli river with rice fields and terrain filed of mountain and finally we reach at Kathmandu. [Overnight at Kathmandu]

Day 9 : Departure to Home


We head to airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. Our journey and services in Nepal ends from today for this trip, Visit Nepal Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd representative will drop you off at Airport for your best memorable of glance of Himalayan.
